Networking

I'll be honest, I have very limited networking experience. However, its enough to get by.

What I can do

I can set up full networks for individual use or even small companies.  Multi layer networks and remote door access are things I have already set up and messed around with and not out of the question for more future projects.

Most of my time spent in networking has been running wires, building racks, and sitting in UniFi's site manager for hours checking out all the weird and useful features.

Am I a pro?

No. Not by any metric.

What I am comfortable with

Everything UniFi

Doing full network builds with UniFi made me realize that everything is simply just better with them.  You get full control of everything you own with an easy to use GUI/Web Based Console with no extra subscriptions or other BS.

Door Access

Once again with UniFi (I'm essentially obsessed with them), setting up remote door access for a ton of users is easy with scaling and user management is a breeze.

DNS Tools

Through some screwing around I've figured out basic DNS Ad blocking with tools like PiHole and AdGuard through docker containers, VMs, and outright dedicated hardware.

Home lab and multi-node NAS Solutions

I have had the honor of having way too many Dell Mini Desktops to my disposal and set up a few different things like pooled NAS solutions through Proxmox Nodes, crypto mining with XMRig, and other utilities like game servers, VPS/VPNs, yada yada etc. etc...
